Magic is open and lawful — people know it exists and that the Eternal wield it; some call it the blessing. A village will give that name to a wave of impossible healings — though more than one healer, like Zora, would rather not trust such a "blessing," and measures instead of pronouncing a miracle. What they don't understand, people explain to themselves in their own way.

Magic remains an open, acknowledged force, spoken of but whose nature no one knows. It is simply part of the order of things — alongside the Guild, the Eternal, and the things of the old world.
